Why are we called "Skylark"?
It centers on the ideas of flight, freedom, and limitless possibilities. Effective health strategies unleash the creativity and peak performance of your people. Good International Health management also frees your people from worries about operating safely in all geographies as your enterprise expands worldwide.
Another reason is the background of our founder, Dr. Yee, in Aerospace Medicine. He served for over ten years providing medical support to F-15 fighter, SR-71 spyplane, pararescue, SCUBA, hyperbaric chamber, and other U.S. Air Force operations in Asia, Europe, and the U.S.A. His extensive training included qualification in the SR-71's full-pressure suit (derived from NASA's Gemini spacesuit). Dr. Yee's participation in aircraft crash investigations has provided him with the unique experience and knowledge to assist multinational corporations and other large organizations in their Disaster Preparedness and Business Continuity Planning. The recommendations of a F-15 jet fighter crash investigation in which he participated, were immediately implemented in all U.S. Air Force F-15 operations worldwide.
He has made presentations at international conferences on Aerospace Medicine and Occupational Medicine.
Dr. Yee concluded his military service on the faculty of the U.S. Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine, where he coordinated the multispecialty medical evaluations of U.S. flying personnel, U.S. military astronaut candidates, and flying personnel from the national air forces of U.S. allies.
